Required/Preferred
A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate scientific field such health physics, medical physics, physics, nuclear engineering, or a closely related field , and minimum of two years professional experience in a compliance based role or comprehensive environmental health and safety program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required
Certification or eligibility for certification with the American Board of Health Physics or American Board of Medical Physics.
Preferred
Thorough knowledge of radiation safety, radiation detection and measurement, shielding, effluent monitoring, and applicable State and Federal regulations.

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues, staff members, researchers, and other members of academia.

Strong analytical & organizational skills to interpret complex technical data using logic and quantitative reasoning independently.
