We are looking for an Office Manager to join our Mechanical Shop team here at DAA Northwest. We are a locally owned, family operated wholesale auto auction and we're eager to add another hard working and fun loving individual to our team.
This position is responsible for managing the operations of the Mechanical Shop's office, including:
- Oversight and direct supervision of the Mechanic Shop's office staff, ensuring all estimates, billing, internal communication, auction support, and wholesale/retail customer communication.
- Managing the collections and past due payments on the Mechanic Shop's accounts receivable.
- Oversight of vendor relations with local shops and managing consigned vehicles out for sublet repair.
- Coordination of new hire training.
- Providing final approval of invoicing directly related to mechanical office functions.
- Directly handling customer complaints when related to mechanical office operations.
- Contributing to and encouraging others to demonstrate a team focused, values based service culture.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly office environment.
The ideal candidate will posses a high school diploma (or equivalent), 5+ years of office management experience, as well as competencies in leadership, management, customer/client focus, organizational skills, problem solving/analysis, managing processes, and developing standards. The position demands outstanding reliability and follow-through and requires excellent communication skills including telephone and active listening skills, efficient problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, the ability type and talk at the same time, delegate effectively, and excellent organizational skills. Candidates must be a reliable, knowledgeable, resourceful, flexible, service-oriented professional. Previous experience working in the automotive field is preferred.
