JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of our Women's Center will:
Monitor regulatory and clinical standards, develop and maintain policies and competencies and lead the staff in educational and certification goals.
This ! position will continually develop unit specific process improv! ements to promote the highest quality of patient care and a family centered environment.
The Director must be visible on the units and be responsible to develop and maintain an environment that fosters high patient, physician and staff satisfaction.
The Director will be responsible for the unit financial budget, including procedural, equipment, supply and staff cost containment.
This person will also be responsible for optimizing procedural changes as required.
The Director will develop a business plan for all units and be highly involved with the Administrative team in strategic planning for this department

REQUIREMENTS
Current Mississippi RN license. (or application applied for)
3-5 years experience as staff nurse in a hospital setting
5 years management/supervisory experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven creative leader
