Description: Mississippi Methodist Senior Services, Inc is currently interviewing CNA to train to be a Shahbaz (Casual/PRN All Shifts Page, Coen, Leeper, Reed & Gregory Houses) right now, this job will be placed in Mississippi. The role of the Shahbaz is to: protect, sustain, and nurture the Elders by providing assistance with Activities of Daily Living, and with other needs as required in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the company (! Methodist Senior Services) to assure that the highest degree o! f quality patient care can be maintained at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Must meet the minimum age requirements for a work permit in the state; must have verification that he/she is not listed on the “Mississippi Nurses Aide Abuse Registryâ€; Reasonable accommodation which does not create undue hardship will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
It is preferred that Shahbazim have six (6) months experience working in a nursing home, hospital, home health agency, or other health care facility.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED
License/Credentials
Must have successfully completed an approved Nurse Aide training course and be certified in this state, CPR certification, a First Aid course, the Green House Shahbazim Program within six (6) months of appointment as a Shahbaz, and other training as needed (! may include Serve-Safe certification).
