Job Summary The Corporate Business Specialist position is responsible for the creating, developing, and implementation of corporate marketing activities and public relations. The p! osition requires building and maintaining relationships with both franchises and vendors, and ability to plan, organize, and execute Vital Care events.
Planning and organizing activities includes but is not limited to developing advertising ideas, creating marketing materials, supporting franchisee marketing efforts, creating newsletters, writing press releases, and coordinating corporate training programs. This position is responsible for the coordination and planning of Vital Care events including but not limited to the Annual Conference and Franchise Training.
Qualifications · The Corporate Business Specialist position requires an undergraduate degree in a related field such as communications, marketing, or graphics design from a recognized college.
- Five years relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Excellent creativity as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Two years marketin! g, sales, or advertising or transferable competencies
- Ability to understand and use design software such as QuarkXPress or Adobe Creative Suite products.
- Proven and documented track record of increased performance and achievements.
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
- Self motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

Carries out projects delegated by the Director of Franchise Development in the specified time frame.
Works with the department Director on th! e development of a Corporate Advertising Plan.
Develops new and effective advertising campaigns
Maintains current knowledge of infusion industry trends in sales.
Maintains current knowledge of graphics and design industry trends, software, and products.
Identifies corporate advertising needs; encourages, motivates, and assists in using advertising materials to increase national presence
Coordinates trade show participation for corporate staff including registration, ordering, shipping, and any other related activities
Coordinates and promotes corporate webinars for all departments
Uses knowledge to develop educational programs, advertising products and written materials for corporate
Designs and develops or oversees development of advertising materials for Vital Care Inc. and for Vital Care franchises
Performs cost comparisons on advertising materials and distributors to find cost-effective and! profitable product lines.
Prepares press releases on request ! for Vital Care Inc.
Designs, produces and distributes the Vital Care Advisory newsletter
Arranges travel for corporate employees and takes meeting minutes
Manages the production of the company’s annual meeting including all phases of program development, trade show organization, speaker contact, hotel/banquet contact, advertising, and handout production
Manages the production of the monthly franchise training program including registration, handout production, and certificate production
Communicates effectively and on an ongoing basis with customers regarding advertising issues.
Uses knowledge to develop educational programs and written materials for customers based on identified needs.
Contributes articles to the Vital Care Advisory and Resource Center on subjects related to marketing and advertising.
Maintains a positive ongoing relationship with customers through regular email or phone contacts.
Maintains a current library of reference documents or books/tapes on the subject of graphics, advertising, available products and software use/troubleshooting
Actively participates in intra-department and multi-department meetings, projects, and educational programs.
Identifies possible causes for profit losses, customer complaints, decrease in advertising revenue, or other indicators of advertising deficiencies; Works to improve products or procedures if deficiencies noted
Takes initiative to research marketing and advertising subjects or issues independently in order to provide answers to customer questions.
Performs quality control audits on advertising products to assure quality, accuracy and completeness.
Maintains the nursing education and ACPE database by entering current information
Typesets, copies, and distributes handouts for CE programs
Schedules and confirms CE program dates and locations wit! h the franchise
Enters data and generates reports on CE progra! ms for quality management and improvement of the CE programs
Generates and mails certificates of attendance for continuing education programs
Maintains a positive and cooperative relationship with franchise customers during the planning and follow up of a CE course at their location
Acts as the main contact for a franchise for questions related to the scheduling or implementation of a CE course at their location; responds promptly to issues/complaints
Maintains an organized system to assure that all franchises planning a CE program are provided the necessary services at the appropriate time
Is available to company staff to answer questions or trouble shoot franchise CE issues
Creates and maintains all CE files/records according to the requirements set forth by various accrediting boards, and these files/records are preserved in an efficient and organized manner
Participates in development and revision of company! policies and procedures pertinent to the department.
Participates in department and company quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Participates in industry associations related to infusion sales, marketing, or advertising
Identifies staff (general employees, Directors, and Managers) training needs (related to advertising) and works with other departments to fill those needs.
Provides current and accurate information to staff on issues related to advertising.
Is available to company staff to answer questions or troubleshoot advertising issues.
Adheres to all Vital Care Inc. policies and procedures and Guardian Management policies and procedures.
Completes other duties deemed necessary by the Director of Franchise Development to accomplish the goals and mission of the department and company.
